Hello and a big thank you to every school that took part on Friday. It looked as though the weather would beat us all, but it seems that many schools were able to do their walk despite the threat of rain and even thunder in some areas!
We hope you all had a good day and counted down to cheer at precisely 2.05pm, as you all contributed to what we hope will be a record number of children taking part in a sponsored walk.
As schools send in their completed registration forms over the next few weeks, the final total will be realised, but early indications are that, despite the weather, well over 100,000 children were able to take part in the walk.
