Sun Safety
Year 6 educated the school on the need for sun safety. They set up a display in the cloakroom, urging children to be safe in the sun.
They also produced a flyer which was sent home with every child in the school.
In the summer last year we learnt about sun safety and how sunburn can increase your chance of skin cancer. The older chidren made posters to show why you should wear suncream and a hat.
Sometimes we ate outside in the orchard on chairs in the shade at lunchtime.
We also all learnt about suncream and that we must bring a hat to school.
To show everything we had done we put up a notice board in the cloakroom.
