Sports day 2002
Sports day 2002 was scheduled for Friday 12th July and preparations went ahead, despite terrible thunder storms every day that week! The decision was made to postpone until Monday 15th July, weather permitting.Monday 15th dawned with clear blue skies and glorious sunshine. By 1.30pm, the temperature was 28 degrees Celsius and a crowd of wilting spectators had gathered on the playing field.
First race to be run: Year 6 girls sprint
Because Year 6 is such a large yeargroup, the boys raced in 2 separate races.
