Playtime
We have lots of time to play during the school day. We can arrive at school at 8.50am and this gives us 10 minutes to play with our friends before school starts. We have breaktime from 10.40am to 11.00am each day. Lunchtime is more complicated. The Juniors have lunch from 12.00pm until 1.00pm, but the Infants stay out until 1.30pm. Sometimes in the afternoons, our class teachers take us out into the playground too.
We have lots to do on the playground. We have lots of new apparatus, netball posts and a bike shed to play in. We also have lots of equipment that we are allowed to use at playtimes. In winter, we have a Conker Championship that takes place at playtime. In the summer, we have a Tennis Tournament.

In the afternoons, our teachers sometimes take us out to play. Then we get lots of equipment out, like skipping ropes, hoops, hockey sticks or balls and we play games with these.
If it is raining, we have to stay inside. We have a big box full of games in each classroom and we have some software that is for playtimes only. Sometimes, if it's very wet or cold, we stay in and watch a video.
