Felt-making day

First, we got our bleached wool and pulled the little fibres into clumps.Then we made our base out of the wool.We did this in a criss-cross patten.Then we choose our coloured wool.There were a lot of colours to choose from.After that we put the dyed wool on to our base.

We shaped the wool into our pattern to make our design. Then we put a piece of net over the top of our work and put some warm water and soap on the top and rubbed for a long time. Then Heidi took our work and rolled it up and washed it in some more water and then we carried on rubbing. When we had finished we peeled the net off and placed it on a mat. Then we rolled it up 20 times all different angles. Then we left them to dry.
