Cross Country Run March 2005

On March the 16th 2005 ,many people gathered together for a cross country run. There were over 1000 people overall in the girl's a and b race and boy's a and b race. It was quite hard because the track was really slippery and it was pouring with rain. On the right is the girl's team it includes: Katherine(yr 5),Kelly(yr 6),Hollie(yr 4) and Annie(yr 4).

There were loads of schools at the run including: Yelvertoft, Woodford, Brington, Newnham, Syresham, Bugbrooke and many more.

On the left is the boy's team it includes:Jack(yr 3), James(Yr 3),Alister(yr 4) and Jacob(yr 3).

Mrs Masters accompanied the children to the meeting and has this to say about the event:
' A massive well done to all our runners! The field was muddy, muddy, muddy and it was pouring with rain. Before the races even started the children were wet through and cold. They somehow found the bravery to take off their warm tracksuits and the energy to run twice around the very demanding course. I don't know how they did it and I was very proud of all of them'.
