Christmas Poetry
Child in a manger,Softly sleeping,
With a kneeling stranger,
And people from far and wide,
Give him fine gifts,
As they stand beside , Their dear little child,
So tender and mild,
He awakes with no sound,
Knowing the animals are around,
His dear mother and father,
Awake in the stable,
Stroking their son,
Their dear little angel,
With small chubby cheeks,
Child in a manger.
