Year 1 and 2 children completed art activities based on their environment.Here, Year 1 children can be seen making a collage based on 'looking at the sky'.
Reception children made routes with the train and road tracks. They took their vehicles on journeys.
Children in Reception also looked at a map of the world and made their own giant version!
Year 2 children explored the points of the compass by making Roamer visit a city in the North, South, East and West.
The Internet proved useful as a source of information.
During the assembly on The Americas, children matched landscapes with countries. Miss Lomas led them through an adventure in the Costa Rican rainforest.
Years 5 and 6 celebrated all things American by eating hotdogs!
