Annabel's recount of our Milton Keynes Museum trip
OUR SCHOOL TRIP TO MILTON
KEYNES MUSEUM
We went to Milton Keynes Museum with class 1 and our class. First we went into a room called a parlour and saw a game called puff billiard, a pianola, a music box and a stereoscope.
Then we went into the Victorian school room and had a lesson. The teacher was very, very scary. She showed us the back board and finger stock.
After that we went into the toy room. There were nice and good toys.
Some time later we went into the kitchen. There was a big fire and in the oven there was a cottage loaf. I saw a sugar mountain. It was so old it was black with soot. Afterwards we went to see how to get the water. They use the water for a bath, washing clothes and to drink.
Then we went to the laundry room and saw how they wash the clothes and dried the clothes and ironed the clothes. The irons were heavy, but some were light.
Then we had lunch. It was a lovely lunch. Then we saw a horse getting shoed by the blacksmith. Michael and Matthew did not like it and said it smelt. But I liked it. Then we went to the transport area. It was ok, but other than that it was BRILLIANT!
Finally, we got back on the coach and went home.
