Dear Parents

You may have noticed that due to the natural movement of families for work reasons, and one or two sets of parents opting to educate their children through the private sector, we have experienced a fall in numbers since last September. Whilst we enjoy the subsequent reduction in class size that this brings we also strive to maintain a buoyant school roll to retain funding

We would like to increase our school roll by between 6 and 10 children, preferably across the years (ie not necessarily all Reception aged children) and to this end we are implementing a number of recruitment strategies. However, the single most effective way of increasing our numbers is through you ? our parents.

If you have friends with Primary aged children who are moving into the locality, or who are currently living within travelling distance (a 5 mile radius) of Brington and have children approaching school age, please do recommend Brington School. We currently have a limited number of places available in each year group and anyone interested in enrolling a child is welcome to call the head at any time.

We are planning a school Open Day on November 21st and any prospective parents will be very welcome to come in and see the school at work. We are completely confident that they will find it to be a happy and secure environment where children of all ages and abilities feel comfortable. Although the children?s well-being is our foremost concern, we also aim to send them on to Secondary School with each child having achieved his or her own personal best in the curriculum subjects.
